The Day I Swam with a Manatee

I live right by the Homosassa River and you can canoe, boat, kayak, and swim all throughout the river and channels or go all the way out into the Gulf of Mexicao. One day the mister, his pops, and I were on the boat and the cutest, funniest, most attention craving manatee swam by. He (she?) kept flipping over and showing his belly and coming up and rolling around to show off. So adorable. I love being able to see these animals so close to where I live.
